PRIVATE VILLA - Le Bouscat

Located in Le Bouscat, this private villa was the setting for two complementary ceiling projects. In the living room, a fully hand-painted decorative ceiling reinterprets the language of classical ornament through a contemporary colour palette, creating a harmonious dialogue with the interior. In the veranda, an existing decorative ceiling was carefully restored to preserve its character and reveal the richness of its original craftsmanship.

Hand-painted ceiling
The living room ceiling was entirely hand-painted, drawing inspiration from the language of classical ornamentation. Trompe-l'œil mouldings structure the composition, while a decorative botanical frieze and burgundy and gold medallions bring rhythm, depth, and elegance to the design. Reinterpreted through a contemporary colour palette, the ceiling enhances the architecture of the room while giving it a timeless character.
VERANDA
Restoration
The veranda ceiling underwent a meticulous restoration to restore the painted decoration to its original refinement. Depicting an ornamental vase filled with flowers and fruit, the composition was entirely repainted by hand, respecting the balance of its forms, colours, and details, revealing once again the richness and elegance of this decorative ceiling.
